Requirements
  • Possesses a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and commercial contracting principles.
  • Has 5 or more years of professional working experience.
  • Has 2 or more years of experience with multiple contract types, including FFP, LH, T&M, and CPFF, and solicitation types such as Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 8, 15, and 16.
  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Is legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
  • Can travel 10–15% on average based on the work and clients served.
Responsibilities
  • Supports the administration of all facets of the contracts life cycle.
  • Performs contract administration duties for federal contracts.
  • Reviews and analyzes moderately complex contract actions with increasing independence and judgment.
  • Maintains awareness of requirements and status associated with assigned contracts.
  • Manages a personal contract portfolio and advises account teams on contract matters.
  • Compiles and analyzes contract-related data and maintains historical information and documentation.
  • Identifies and analyzes contracting issues and solves standard or routine contract activities.
  • Supports the development, review, and negotiation of contracts, modifications, prime contractor nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts consistent with company policies.
  • Enters contract data into appropriate forms and databases and checks the accuracy and completeness of electronic documents and contract systems data.
  • Reviews federal solicitations, requests for information, and proposals; identifies business risks; documents findings; and provides recommendations.
  • Understands key terms and conditions of assigned contracts affecting performance or compliance and conveys information to stakeholders.
  • Prepares standard contract language for inclusion in proposals.
  • Receives and interprets federal customer post-submission clarifications or deficiencies, coordinates proposal updates, and remits revised proposal offers to the Contracting Officer.
  • Develops relationships with external client stakeholders and attends industry and government events.
  • Collaborates across Government and Public Services teams to provide solutions and insights related to the contracts portfolio.
  • Reviews compliance with federal contract regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Communicates with peers, internal leadership, and clients regarding contract matters.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting the Federal client aligned with the assigned team, particularly civilian agencies such as the Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Transportation, or Department of Commerce.
  • Emerging ability to excel in an upper-level management environment.
  • National Contract Management Association CFCM or CCCM certification.

AI forces companies to rethink hiring practices as job applications surge and entry-level pipelines shrink

Business Insider convened 15 HR and C-suite leaders in Davos to discuss how AI is reshaping hiring and talent pipelines. The roundtable, presented by Indeed, revealed growing concerns about entry-level positions and skills assessment. Deloitte's Elizabeth Faber emphasised maintaining a "human-led, technology-powered" approach whilst carefully navigating reduced junior hiring. TCW's Melissa Stolfi noted her firm has downsized its analyst class but maintains a pyramid structure to preserve apprenticeship culture and future leadership pipelines. Indeed's chief economist Svenja Gudell warned that whilst tech employers now demand five-plus years' experience, this creates future talent shortages if junior hiring continues declining. Salesforce's Nathalie Scardino said her company receives two million applications annually and has shifted focus from years of experience to learning aptitude. Manpower Group's Becky Frankiewicz noted AI can process candidates faster whilst reducing bias, potentially unlocking opportunities beyond traditional qualifications.

Deloitte to hire 50,000 employees in India, eyes Mangaluru expansion

Deloitte plans to hire 50,000 employees in India and is evaluating Mangaluru, Karnataka, as a potential new location, according to South Asia CEO Romal Shetty. The company currently employs 140,000 people in India, representing one in four Deloitte employees globally. Shetty said India hosts 50% of all global capability centres worldwide, with significant growth potential in Tier II and Tier III cities. He proposed creating digital economic zones integrating GCCs, GPU-based data centres, startups and academic institutions to accelerate expansion. The CEO called for streamlining GCC setup processes from six months to two weeks, whilst acknowledging infrastructure constraints around energy and water for data centres. Shetty noted Mangaluru offers advantages including talent availability and real estate, adding the company's presence there is a matter of timing.
