Requirements
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience operating heavy-duty trucks, preferably in heavy-haul or construction settings, is required.
- The ability to perform physically demanding labor in construction and structural moving environments is required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy-equipment operation and construction sites is required.
- The candidate must be reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- The candidate must be willing to travel regionally and stay overnight when necessary.
- Good communication skills and professionalism are required.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks to transport equipment and materials to job sites safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support construction and structural moving teams with manual labor tasks such as setting up cribbing, rigging, and site preparation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and team members during transport and on site.
