Requirements
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience and/or live entertainment or hospitality/travel experience preferred
  • Understanding of financial and accounting standards
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as Google Sheets and Docs (certification in Excel would be considered an asset)

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Marketing Development
  • Collaborate on Marketing Strategy: Partner with the Vice President of Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager, and other Vibee team members to define and refine the strategic direction for destination experiences and integration events. Ensure the alignment of marketing campaigns with overarching brand and business objectives
  • Conceptualize Marketing Plans: Develop comprehensive marketing plans that leverage the full marketing mix, including social media, traditional advertising, influencer collaborations, PR, and digital marketing channels. Ensure these plans resonate with Vibee's target audience and foster deep engagement
  • Innovative Campaign Ideation: Lead brainstorming sessions to generate creative marketing concepts that highlight the unique aspects of Vibee’s destination experiences, emphasizing exclusive offers like VIP experiences, bespoke packages, and immersive fan moments
  • Marketing Execution & Campaign Management
  • Day-to-Day Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring that all campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Content and Social Media Strategy: Manage the content calendar for Vibee’s social media channels in partnership with the Digital Marketing Specialist. Ensure that content is strategically aligned, engaging, and supports both short-term campaigns and long-term brand positioning
  • Integrated Marketing Efforts: Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist to create and implement integrated campaigns that go beyond digital, incorporating tactics such as on-ground activations, email marketing, influencer outreach, and partnership marketing
  • Digital Advertising Liaise with our outside agency on all digital advertising campaigns and manage all steps in the process including asset creation, budget management, and strategic planning
  • Asset Creation: Initiate all assets needed for marketing campaign cycle. Work closely with team designer on creative materials and necessary social media and traditional tools
  • Budget & Financial Oversight
  • Budget Management: Take ownership of marketing budgets for assigned projects, working closely with the finance and accounts payable teams to ensure proper financial tracking and reporting
  • Secure necessary approvals for quotes, invoices, and marketing expenses, ensuring transparency and adherence to budget
  • Financial Reporting: Provide regular updates on budget utilization, campaign ROI, and cost efficiency to the Vice President of Marketing and other key stakeholders
  • Collaboration & Team Leadership
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager and the broader Vibee team to track all marketing deliverables and timelines using internal project management systems. Ensure every aspect of a campaign, from concept to execution, is meticulously managed and delivered
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and marketing partners, ensuring all third-party contributions are aligned with Vibee’s brand vision and quality standards
  • Team Support and Coordination: Support the marketing team in identifying marketing assets, overseeing the development of tools, and ensuring internal processes are followed. Provide mentorship to junior team members and assist in optimizing team workflow
  • Performance Analytics & Optimization
  • KPI Tracking & Reporting: Lead the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns. Use data to evaluate the success of ongoing initiatives, identify trends, and optimize future campaigns for greater effectiveness and efficiency
  • Event Performance Evaluation: Analyze the outcomes of destination experiences and integration events, comparing them against established benchmarks. Use insights gained to recommend changes, optimizations, or new opportunities to further enhance fan engagement and event attendance
  • Creative & Copy Development
  • Message Consistency: Ensure consistency in all marketing copy, collateral, and communication materials across channels. Oversee the development of messaging that accurately reflects the brand’s voice while catering to the unique needs of each destination experience
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external creative teams to ensure all marketing materials, from visuals to copy, are innovative, impactful, and in line with Vibee’s brand identity
  • Market Research & Trend Monitoring
  • Market Trend Analysis: Stay attuned to emerging trends in both travel and entertainment marketing. Identify new channels, opportunities, and tactics that Vibee can leverage to enhance fan engagement and stay ahead of the competition
  • Fan Engagement Strategies: Monitor shifts in fan behavior and engagement preferences, continuously refining marketing strategies to align with evolving fan expectations
  • Public Relations & Communication
  • Press and Media Collaboration: Coordinate with Vibee’s press and PR teams to craft compelling press releases and execute targeted publicity campaigns. Ensure seamless communication with external media partners to enhance the reach and impact of Vibee’s destination events
  • Third-Party Campaign Coordination: Act as a liaison between Vibee and external marketing teams, ensuring cohesive and collaborative campaigns that are consistent across all partner channels
  • Operational Support & Flexibility
  • Project Management Tools: Utilize and maintain project management tools to ensure clear communication and tracking of marketing tasks. Keep the entire team informed of campaign progress, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Provide support on additional marketing or operational projects as needed, displaying flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The company reported $26.3 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue and maintains a market capitalisation of $42.3 billion. Live Nation posts record Q2 with $7.7B revenue amid legal troubles and monopoly ruling

Live Nation reported second quarter revenue of $7.7 billion, up 9% year-over-year, with operating income of $522 million, up 7%. The company saw record quarterly performance for both Ticketmaster and concert attendance. Ticketmaster generated revenue of $852 million, up 15%, selling 90 million fee-bearing tickets, an 8% increase. Concert revenue grew 8% to $6.4 billion, with fan attendance reaching 49 million, up 10% and the highest second quarter on record. The results follow Live Nation's settlement with the Department of Justice, which included up to $280 million in payments. The company reported $450 million in legal accruals related to ongoing litigation, including a jury finding of unlawful monopolisation. CEO Michael Rapino said more than 143 million tickets have sold through mid-July, over 14 million ahead of last year's pace.

Live Nation Q2 earnings preview: revenue expected to grow 7.8% year on year

The live events and entertainment company beat revenue expectations last quarter with $3.79 billion in sales, up 12.1% year-on-year. Analysts expect revenue growth of 7.8% year-on-year this quarter, down from 16.3% growth in the same period last year. Over the past 30 days, analysts have largely maintained their estimates. The company has missed Wall Street revenue forecasts multiple times over the past two years. Live Nation shares currently trade at $180.93, with an average analyst price target of $192.50. The stock price has remained flat over the past month. Peers AMC Entertainment and Delta recently reported quarterly results, with revenue growth of 14.2% and 18.7% respectively, both exceeding estimates.
