Strategic Planning Manager

The Strategic Planning Manager supports strategic initiatives through modeling, planning, and performance tracking. The Manager will build and maintain dashboards and financial models, conduct competitive and market assessments, and assist in pricing and post-merger integration efforts.

What You Will Do:

• Support strategic initiatives through detailed modeling, planning, and performance tracking.
• Build and maintain dashboards and financial models to provide insights and track performance metrics.
• Conduct thorough competitive and market assessments to inform strategic decisions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
• Support post-merger integration efforts by providing analysis and tracking integration progress.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Analyze data and generate reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for strategic planning.
• Continuously seek ways to improve strategic planning processes and tools.
• Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.  

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required. Master’s Degree.
• MBA is preferred but not required.
• Six - eight years of relevant experience is preferred. 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of strategic planning processes and methodologies.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining financial models.
• Strong ability to conduct market and competitive assessments.
• Advanced data analysis skills to interpret complex data and generate insights.
• Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards for performance tracking.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. 
• Ability to to learn the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System. 

Reporting Relationships:

This position will report to the Director, Strategic Planning and may have direct reports.
