Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, building, integrating, and testing spacecraft electrical systems.
  • Experience with schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, and electrical analysis tools.
  • Experience with the full spacecraft development cycle, from concept to launch.
  • Ability to work with mechanical and software engineers and understand cross-disciplinary constraints.
  • Knowledge of grounding, filtering, power distribution, harness design, electromagnetic compatibility mitigation, and signal integrity.
  • Proficiency with test instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and digital multimeters, as well as laboratory debugging workflows.
  • Familiarity with software configuration and workflow tools, including Git, GitLab, and Jira.
  • Ability to produce clear engineering documentation and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Experience with Python scripting, application programming interface integration, and managing data through JavaScript Object Notation.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed during integration activities.
Responsibilities
  • Own the architecture, design, build, test, and delivery of spacecraft electrical subsystems.
  • Develop power, digital, analog, and mixed-signal hardware for flight and ground systems.
  • Create schematics, printed circuit board layouts, block diagrams, and subsystem-level requirements.
  • Drive cradle-to-launch ownership, including prototyping, board bring-up, debugging, environmental qualification, and flight acceptance.
  • Ensure designs meet reliability, redundancy, and performance needs for mission-critical operations.
  • Assemble test setups, run electrical functional tests, and troubleshoot flight hardware down to the component level.
  • Support cable harnessing, power distribution, grounding schemes, and electromagnetic-compatibility-clean design practices.
  • Run environmental testing campaigns, analyze results, and implement fixes.
  • Collaborate during spacecraft integration, activation, and final launch-vehicle preparation.
  • Support build, integration, and test campaigns, including fit checks, thermal vacuum, vibration, and electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility testing.
  • Work with software, mechanical, guidance-navigation-and-control, and systems teams to create integrated spacecraft.
  • Interface with mechanical engineering on enclosure design, thermal considerations, connector placement, and harness routing.
  • Partner with software teams on firmware interfaces, test automation, and embedded-system behavior.
  • Produce engineering documentation and interface control documents, and participate in preliminary design, critical design, and test readiness reviews.
  • Assemble prototypes, harnesses, and test-support hardware using laboratory equipment, hand tools, and rework stations.
  • Coordinate with machining and fabrication teams to support enclosure builds, printed circuit board mounting solutions, and mechanical-electrical integration hardware.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated hands-on ownership of flight electronics from concept through launch.
  • A Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Programming experience in C, C++, or Python.
  • Background in mechanical computer-aided design, harness routing, or three-dimensional wire-bundle design.
  • Experience with environmental testing, including thermal vacuum, vibration, shock, and electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility testing.
  • Understanding of radiation effects and mitigation strategies for space electronics.
  • Cleanroom or flight-hardware integration experience.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering tools, including Flow engineering, Jira, Jama, and DOORS.
  • Experience supporting launch vehicle integration or mission-readiness milestones.
  • Prior technical leadership, mentorship, or team-lead experience.
  • Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines.

Oligo Space offers runtime application security and observability for open-source vulnerabilities in cloud-native and on-premises apps. It inspects application activity at runtime to show library and function-level behavior in real time, enabling security teams to detect, prioritize, and remediate exploits quickly. It targets Kubernetes-based environments and legacy systems, providing actionable insights and automated remediation to reduce manual work for DevSecOps teams. By focusing on runtime analysis, it aims to deliver accurate, live information about vulnerabilities that are being exploited, improving risk management and threat detection in modern software stacks.

What believers are saying

  • August 4, 2026 funding lifted Oligo to $140 million and signaled investor conviction.
  • Management cited 300% revenue growth on August 4, 2026, suggesting strong product-market pull.
  • AWS Security Hub Extended Plan integration expanded distribution into Amazon’s security buyer base.

What critics are saying

  • Crowded CNAPP rivals like Wiz, Palo Alto Networks, and CrowdStrike will compress pricing by 2027.
  • FedStart still requires ATO and FedRAMP milestones; delays block government revenue in 2026.
  • Oligo’s category depends on runtime telemetry adoption; weak agent penetration kills differentiation entirely.

What makes Oligo Space unique

  • Runtime agents expose exploitable code paths in production, not noisy pre-deployment scanner findings.
  • November 20, 2025 AI-SPM and AI-DR extend Oligo into runtime AI security.
  • June 18, 2026 Palantir FedStart gives Oligo a faster federal compliance path.
