Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a call center supervisor or in a similar supervisory position.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of phone systems such as inContact or Five9 and customer relationship management systems such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to lead, coach, train, mentor, and evaluate others.
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid and related program and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate challenging situations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise Contact Center Representatives to ensure the eligibility of leads and referrals through review and documentation of demographic, clinical, and financial criteria.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff to ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and coverage to meet service level agreements and provide backup support as needed.
  • Use phone-system and Salesforce reporting tools to ensure contact center metrics are met.
  • Provide callers with Careforth program information specific to their state of residence in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on referral requirements and processes.
  • Work with case management teams and applicable stakeholders regarding referrals to maintain positive working relationships.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and the manager to keep training materials and processes effective and current, and identify training needs or gaps.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators within the Contact Center.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience with human services or healthcare for elderly and disabled clients.
  • Sales or consultative selling experience.
