Join Axon and be a Force for Good
\nAt Axon, we’re committed to our mission of Protecting Life. We stand at the forefront of addressing society’s most pressing safety and justice challenges. Our innovative ecosystem combines cutting-edge devices and cloud software, driven by collaboration, empathy, and diverse perspectives from those we serve and work with. At Axon, you’re not just a team member—you’re a key contributor to a global mission to make a meaningful difference.
\nReal-Time Operations (RTO) is a cornerstone of Axon’s mission and a strategic priority, transforming public safety with Axon’s RTCC software, Axon Fusus. Our vision is bold: to become the go-to real-time platform for connecting communities and law enforcement. This includes enabling collaboration between first responders, businesses, and communities to enhance response, improve safety, and advance Axon’s mission to Protect Life.
You will play a pivotal role in building capabilities that revolutionize response to real-world events. You’ll focus on end-to-end processes for advanced real-time scenarios, ensuring responders have actionable intelligence. This role will focus on designing scalable solutions for integrating data and events from third-party partners into Axon Fusus from third-party partners to improve situational awareness and real-time decision making.
Succeeding in this role means that it will be much easier for customers to enable and configure integrations to Axon Fusus, accelerating time to value. Furthermore, success in this role means that customers will be able to drive more workflows directly from Axon Fusus - whether that is getting alerts from intrusion and access control systems that can be directly actioned or pinpointing the location of an incident based on gunshot detection and camera feeds. The net result is that you’ll directly contribute to Axon’s moonshot goal: reducing gun-related deaths between police and the public by 50% in 10 years.
Key responsibilities include integrating data streams and events from physical security systems, sensors, and trackers. This will require a deep understanding of workflows and the value of various safety solutions to drive decisions on notification and alert prioritization, search capabilities, and other workflow interactions.
You’ll need to deeply understand our end users—first responders, dispatchers, and their support teams—and the environments in which they operate. Partnering closely with product design and engineering, you’ll create a roadmap that addresses their challenges and drives lasting impact.
To excel, you must have significant experience in IoT or device-to-cloud problem spaces, designing customer-centric solutions at scale, and working across cross-functional teams. Furthermore, experience with physical security products such as access control and alarm systems will be a robust advantage. You’ll be skilled at making strategic trade-offs and will have a track record of delivering initiatives that drive measurable impact, not just theoretical value.
