In this role, your analytical expertise will drive the strategic direction of the business, streamline planning and reporting, and shape decision-making through actionable insights. You’ll work alongside business leaders, guiding key financial strategies and developing processes that keep us agile and growth-focused.
What You’ll Do at Avant:
Analyze Trends & Key Metrics: Dive into key performance indicators across revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures to identify impactful trends and support decision-making.
Present to Leadership: Create executive-ready presentations that effectively communicate your analyses to our executive team, investors, and board members
Lead Financial Planning Cycles: Support and enhance critical planning cycles, including the Annual Budget, Monthly Financial Forecast, and Long-Term Financial Plan
Build Tools for Success: Maintain and enhance our FP&A platforms and dashboards, ensuring our business leaders have the latest insights at their fingertips
Support Strategic Cost Efficiency: Partner with cross-functional leaders to uncover cost-saving opportunities and drive operational improvements
Develop & Refine Financial Models: Design and optimize forecasting models that increase accuracy and deliver valuable insights to guide the business forward
Conduct Competitive Analysis: Use competitive research to inform strategy and recommend actionable initiatives

Why you are a fit at Avant
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) or comparable experience
2+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, consulting, investment banking or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Financial Manager (CFM)
4+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Workday Adaptive Planning or similar planning tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
