Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with focus in business, mathematics, IT, economics, finance or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional working experience in fixed income.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced experience in excel.
  • Strong understanding and expertise in the fixed income market including leverage loan and ESG.
  • Must be able to work independently on multiple projects with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities on large data sets to solve problems in a timely and insightful manner.
  • Ability to learn S&P DJI’s proprietary index calculation platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CFA or progress toward CFA and/or CIPM certification
  • Experience with Python and VBA for process automation and calculation models
Responsibilities
  • Understand and communicate complexed index methodologies to stakeholders.
  • Review and interpret corporate action events including refinancing, restructuring, bankruptcy workout, sustainability data, call, put, sinking fund etc.
  • Review and analyse advance bond risk concepts of duration, option adjusted spread, convexity etc.
  • Provide detailed analysis of recommended index changes to the relevant index committee.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to thoroughly assess potential methodology changes, manage the process of governance review, and work through to seamless implementation of the index changes.
  • Participate in the development and launch of new indices, including methodology application, operational feasibility and system capabilities.
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and other factors affecting the leverage loan and responsible investing markets.
