Requirements
  • Minimum education: a college or university degree in a related field.
  • Minimum work experience: knowledge and skills developed through fewer than 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities and the overall workflow of the projects for principal investigator.
  • Responsible for having a working knowledge and awareness of all project components and initiatives.
  • Assist with grant applications, proposals, and required grant reports.
  • Manage Institutional Review Board processes.
  • Provide training and oversight to the work of research support personnel, students, and volunteers.
  • Build data collection instruments and databases.
  • Provide support to the principal investigator and research team by recruiting subjects, designing surveys, planning and conducting individual and focus group interviews and collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Plan and facilitate team meetings and webinars for on-site and off-site meetings.
  • Work independently and within teams on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.
  • Provide technical assistance to collaborators in executing research procedures and in data collection.
  • Maintain working relationships with collaborative community and research partners.
  • Maintain and manage secure shared files for off-site and on-site management of research instruments and study documents.
  • Manage project equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct qualitative research, including interviewing patients, stakeholders, or staff involved in the project, coding and analyzing interview transcripts, and drafting qualitative results.
  • Collects, cleans, and maintains datasets. Analyzes data with assistance and guidance from statisticians.
  • Oversee budget and purchase of study related materials.
  • Perform literature searches and contribute to writing manuscripts.
  • Present research findings at staff meetings, seminars, and scientific conferences.
  • Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
  • Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
  • Performs other related work as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Administration or related field.
  • Qualitative research experience.
  • Impeccable problem-solving/analytic skills with an ongoing attention to detail.
  • Excellent proven writing and editing skills and ability to synthesize and translate complicated material into clear and simple language.
  • Excellent proven verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Superb organizational, time management and prioritization skills and proven experience coordinating a variety of activities in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Knowledge in relevant scientific field.
  • Knowledge of research techniques or methods.
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
