Requirements
  • BS in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux environments; C#, C++ and Python, scripting languages
  • Proficient in GitLab based CI-CD software build toolchain and release
  • Knowledgeable in common software validation practices and standards
  • Detail oriented and well organized with excellent communication skills
  • Self-Starter as well as a Team player, with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn.
Responsibilities
  • Finalize and Decompose Software Requirements, Design and Implement software in conjunction with other systems to Verify & Validate repeatability and reliability on the Airship.
  • Support development of software to meet quality and timing requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive test sets for validation and verification of released software.
  • Develop and establish requirements for associated Simulator software.
  • Create and maintain Simulator software design documentation and test reports.
  • Lead Software Release for testing purposes and final usage on the AirshipSupport Software Change & Merge Request, Software Review, etc. part of Configuration ManagementSupport Software Engineering team-members and related activities as and when required.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Pilots, Systems Engineering, Software engineering, GNC engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, etc.
  • Support training activities
