Requirements
  • 5-7 years’ experience in brokerage, consulting, or insurance company, depending on training and educational background
  • P&C license required
  • Selling skills helpful along with ability to make recommendations for cross selling
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance
  • Rating experience helpful
  • Detail oriented with good mathematical and communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to all internal Quality Control guidelines
  • Check policy coverages and endorsements, as needed, on all new business and renewals for accuracy and adequacy of coverage
  • Complete specs & applications, assist in preparing proposals, policy summaries and reviews
  • Work with 3rd party vendor to order loss runs and create loss summaries
  • Assist in handling placement requests and invoicing
  • Complete id cards, certificates of insurance, driver and vehicle schedules, schedule of values and other requests from clients or CL leaders
  • Liaise with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices as required
  • Handle insured and underwriter’s questions when support is needed
  • Perform other specific duties as needed by the NOE region
  • Pursue a program of professional development
  • Keep abreast of licensing requirements
