Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science preferred (i.e., chemistry, biology or environmental)
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of industrial or municipal wastewater or water treatment plants
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and "hands-on" skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organization, prioritization, planning and communication skills
  • Ability to extract, evaluate and utilize data for process improvement from all applicable resources
  • Must be flexible, and open to changing environment and evolving job responsibilities
  • Requires some proficiency with Microsoft Windows PC applications
  • Must be free to work weekends and holidays any shift during the entire year
Responsibilities
  • Sample collection, analysis and interpretation of the results
  • Perform basic maintenance and repair to all equipment and instrumentation
  • Operation of bio solids dewatering equipment
  • Housekeeping and cleaning of all equipment, structures and facilities
