THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
FanDuel is looking for a freelance Graphics Operator who will be responsible for the creation and design of graphic templates in an accurate and timely manner. In addition to building graphics, the Graphics Operator must operate multiple graphic devices for play-out to air while maintaining high technical standards. The ideal candidate can work well in a high-pressure graphics and wagering environment.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Pre-build graphics for live shows and postproduction
- Design templates and associated motions for graphics to be used on-air & in studio monitors
- Utilize pre-made templates to build requested graphics
- Operates graphic machines during live on-air shows
- Check for accuracy of information provided; fact checking and grammatical accuracy
- Perform visual acuity; able to organize information in an easy-to-understand format
- Able to work a flexible schedule consisting of weekends, evenings, and holidays
THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or in lieu of experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a graphics operator in a live television environment
- Ability to use/understand graphics technology (e.g., Chyron Lyric & Ross Xpression)
- Experience in design and creation of graphic templates
- Ability to conceptualize, design and implement graphic templates
- Accurate and fast typing skills
- Take a pro-active approach to spot trends and predict the appropriate next steps
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with Chyron & Xpression applications
- Understanding of Ross product suite (e.g., Dashboard, Tessera), preferred

The applicable hourly range for this position is $30.77 - $38.46, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
