- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned military customer accounts.
- Support all aspects of T56 engine program requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics to ensure timely and efficient induction and delivery.
- Regularly review customer operating data and provide forecasts and performance analysis to internal stakeholders.
- Organize and assist in customer reviews and reporting sessions, providing updates on program performance, risks, and action plans.
- Proactively identify and resolve customer concerns, including field service support.
- Host and support DND visits, audits, and program meetings on-site.
- Provide program-level input to sales forecasts, bids, and strategic planning within the military segment.
- Participate in risk and safety and airworthiness analyses related to flight- and product-safety critical components.
- Prior military experience is not required but strongly preferred, especially in aircraft maintenance, logistics, or program management.
- Proven experience working within or alongside the Department of National Defence or similar military organizations is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of engine maintenance programs, with specific familiarity or experience with T56 engine platforms preferred.
- Related account or program management experience in the aerospace/defense industry is a strong asset.

Spitale named president of business aviation at StandardAero. photo_camera Giovanni Spitale Aerospace engine aftermarket services firm, StandardAero, has announced Giovanni Spitale as its new president of its business aviation segment effective immediately, replacing Anthony (Tony) Brancato III who is retiring after nearly a decade in leadership positions with StandardAero. Spitale will be based at the company's headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, and will report to Kim Ernzen, chief operating officer of StandardAero. A results-driven executive with more than 30 years of experience in engineering, operations, and global leadership, Spitale joins StandardAero following his most recent successful tenure as chief executive at Davis Standard, LLC, where he led a $1 billion revenue private equity-owned business through significant organic and mergers and acquisitions growth. Prior to Davis Standard, Spitale held several senior executive roles at The Boeing Company and leadership positions at Milacron Holdings Corp., GE Aviation, Moog, and Honeywell International on various business aviation programmes. A veteran of the Armed Forces of the US, Spitale began his career in the US Navy where he served as a nuclear propulsion plant supervisor for nearly a decade. He holds an MBA in international management from Arizona State University's WP Carey School of Business, a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from Thomas Edison State University, and he is a PMP-certified professional and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
