- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficient in electrical measurements using DMM, Oscilloscope, and Power Supplies
- Strong CAD experience in CATIA, Solidworks, or similar
- Experience working in a machine shop/fabrication shop
- Develop methods and execute teardown and failure analysis investigations on high voltage battery packs, modules, and related components
- Work with electrical and mechanical test equipment to characterize failed components
- Work with CNC, Waterjet, and other machine-shop/fabrication equipment to develop new teardown techniques
- Document and communicate findings, techniques, and procedures
- Present FA findings in broad team meetings
- Coordinate and cross train other engineers and technicians
- Experience with CNC, Waterjet, Laser Cutters, etc preferred
