Requirements
  • A BAC+2 qualification is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead customer-relations activities among point-of-sale employees and report customer feedback to management.
  • Welcome, advise, and direct customers; handle customer disputes and propose solutions to management.
  • Implement commercial promotions approved by management and contribute to store objectives.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans approved by management.
  • Calculate promotional commitments.
  • Manage stock, product assortment, article records, consumables, inventories, and product rotation.
  • Validate and place orders with approved suppliers, verify deliveries, and follow up on supplier disputes.
  • Maintain the point of sale, merchandising displays, product signage, prices, and point-of-sale and point-of-information advertising.
  • Conduct competitor price surveys and implement approved corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper operation of checkout activities, including opening and closing tills, payment controls, returns, cash counts, bank deposits, and safe and cash-fund controls.
  • Perform daily, weekly, or monthly closing operations when the responsible manager is absent.
  • Prepare team schedules when the responsible manager is absent or upon request.
  • Organize, monitor, and control the team’s work and track hours worked.
  • Ensure compliance with company rules and procedures.
  • Organize information, motivation, and training meetings when needed.
  • Welcome and integrate new employees and provide an opinion during their probationary period.
  • Provide rotating coverage at the point of sale.
  • Open or close the point of sale when the responsible manager is absent.
  • Monitor relevant legislative changes, bring the point of sale into compliance, and inform employees.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, traceability, safety, labeling, pricing, customer-information, and advertising regulations.
  • Act as deputy for the operational management of the point of sale under the store director’s direction.
  • Manage supply, distribution, commerce, the flow of goods from storage, and the proper presentation of store departments.
