Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years in Database Management or Data Integration.
  • Proficient in a Database Management System such as DataStax, Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Familiar with replication technologies and ability to read a Logical Data Model.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Design complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects as well as Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions.
  • Work closely with application development project teams to ensure optimal application performance.
  • Proactively monitor database performance, optimizing through techniques including indexing, query optimization and database design.
  • Provide day to day support for databases and database applications ensuring they are backed up properly, and recovery procedures are tested and documented.
