Summary Description
The eComm Experience Strategist - Personalization is a subject matter expert for the overall performance and Athlete website experience related to the eCommerce Personalization Program. This role acts as an advocate for the Athlete and is a key contributor to developing strategy, driving improvement and managing the effectiveness of the overall Program. The Strategist will be responsible for implementing personalized experiences on all of our website properties including DICK’S Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, Public Lands and the DICK’S Sporting Goods Mobile App. They will utilize data to make decisions and will align their workload to specific KPIs and the overall goals of on-site Personalization. This role will be a cross-functional partner, collaborating with teams across the organization including Technology, Analytics, Creative and Category Merchandising.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for updating website content for various audiences and the propensity to buy.
Create and implement personalization experiences on the website and measure the related productivity in order to create a first-class Athlete experience online.
Analyze Athlete audiences using platforms such as the Adobe suite to build shopping preferences/location/loyalty strategies around the content that will resonate with those groups.
Leverage site data and qualitative information to unearth opportunities and build fact-based strategies for continual improvement in our Personalization program.
Build and maintain exceptional cross-functional relationships as a partner with teams such as Category Merchandising, Tech, Creative and Marketing in an effort to build actionable strategies and tactics to improve Athlete visit productivity.
Partner with Technology on entering developer request tickets for new site functionality on home page or product pages, monitoring progress of the tickets, aiding in QA and implementation of final experience on the website.
Lead the implementation of various personalization initiatives, such as category level initiatives, higher level campaigns for holidays, etc. that will improve the Athlete site Experience. This will include planning and executing those plans with cross-functional partners across the enterprise and managing related communication effectively to drive a positive outcome.
Communicate information such as site metrics, potential roadblocks and results in a clear and compelling way that drives towards impacting decision-making across the organization, within the department and with key cross-functional stakeholders.
In addition, will need to demonstrate the ability to advocate for and negotiate desired site capability outcomes with cross-functional partners to influence decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years of experience in eCommerce
Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel
Experience with Content Management Systems
Experience with Adobe Analytics, Omniture, Core Metrics or comparable web analytics system
Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Experience Platform (preferred)
Experience with JIRA and Confluence (preferred)

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
