You’ll be joining a small but growing team. As an engineering manager, you’ll lead a team to drive impact across a significant portion of the product. We’re looking for someone who is excited about helping our students, and our engineers grow and learn.

Things we’re looking for:

10+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years leading an engineering team
Experience working cross-functionally, especially with product managers
Experience with our tech stack (mongodb, flask/python, react/redux) or similar technologies

What you’ll do on a day to day:

Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and product management to own the team’s vision and strategy.
Help set team goals and technical direction while ensuring that they align with the goals of the larger organization.
Build and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.

This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Compensation Package

$170,000-$230,000 USD Base Salary + Pre-IPO Stock Options
