WHAT IS THIS ROLE?
As the Director of Technology Services, you will oversee our core technology delivery teams, providing strategic direction and operational excellence in application development, low-code/no-code solutions, and data services. You will be responsible for driving best practices, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and cultivating an environment where innovation and collaboration thrive. Your role will be central to shaping how we partner with our clients to solve critical business challenges using modern and emerging technologies.
The base salary range for this role is $150,000/year to $175,000/year. Bonuses are available based on individual performance, team performance, and company goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Strategy
- Shape and execute the strategic vision for application development, low-code/no-code, and data services, aligning with organizational and client objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to managers and technical leads, ensuring alignment of goals, resources, and timelines across all technology service lines.
Team Management & Development
- Build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams; facilitate professional development plans and provide regular feedback.
- Encourage a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement, promoting knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Service Delivery & Operations
- Establish and oversee delivery standards, project frameworks, and performance metrics to ensure consistent excellence and timely execution.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Client Services teams to plan, scope, and deliver complex, multi-faceted engagements.
Technical Oversight
- Stay current on emerging trends in software development, low-code/no-code platforms, data analytics, and cloud technologies; translate these into actionable strategies for clients and internal teams.
- Define and enforce best practices for solution architecture, DevOps, security, and compliance, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
Client Engagement & Growth
- Partner with business development, sales, and account teams to drive client satisfaction, expand service lines, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted technology advisor for key clients—conducting strategic assessments, offering recommendations, and presenting roadmaps for transformation initiatives.
Financial & Resource Management
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for all technology services, balancing client needs with financial targets.
- Track and report on portfolio performance, including utilization, margin, and revenue, ensuring efficient and profitable operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with AI, Governance, and Transformation teams to integrate advanced capabilities into core technology offerings.
- Align with leadership on organizational priorities, contributing to overall strategic planning and steering committees.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Drive systematic feedback loops, retrospectives, and process enhancements to elevate quality and reduce delivery risks.
- Introduce and monitor KPIs related to code quality, client satisfaction, delivery predictability, and innovation impact.

- Begin your day by meeting with your team leads to review project statuses, identify bottlenecks, and discuss critical client deliverables.
Strategic Check-ins
- Conduct one-on-one sessions with key client stakeholders, refining technology roadmaps and addressing emerging needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Connect with the Transformation or AI teams to brainstorm how new AI capabilities or user-centered design techniques can elevate a current project.
Technical & Operational Oversight
- Review solution architecture proposals, ensuring alignment with best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
Team Development
- Mentor a rising manager, offering guidance on leadership approaches and operational management skills.
Client Engagement
- Present a proof-of-concept or pilot project results to an executive committee, highlighting success metrics and recommendations for next steps.
Continuous Improvement
- End the day by refining resource plans and reviewing budget forecasts for upcoming projects, ensuring long-term sustainability and profitability.
Requirements
SKILLS WE NEED FROM YOU
Proven Leadership & Management
- 8+ years of experience leading technology teams (application development, data services, low-code/no-code, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing teams in a consulting or client-focused environment.
Technical Depth & Breadth
- Strong background in software architecture, systems integration, database management, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with leading low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform) and modern data infrastructures (cloud, data lakes, analytics).
Consulting & Client Relationship Building
- Experience in a professional services/consulting environment, adept at fostering trust and expanding client engagements.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for executive audiences.
Strategic Thinking & Execution
- Track record of defining strategic objectives, establishing roadmaps, and driving execution within scope and budget.
- Proficiency in balancing innovation and practicality to deliver solutions that meet client needs while staying on schedule.
Financial & Operational Acumen
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, resource management, and profit/loss statements in a services context.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring optimal resource utilization and profitability.
People-Centric & Collaborative
- Strong focus on building positive team dynamics and promoting an inclusive, supportive culture.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, adaptable to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
EDUCATION & MINDSET
