  • APAC branding unification starts July 1, 2026, supporting over 50% regional growth.

What critics are saying

Industrious unifies Asia-Pacific portfolio under global brand, plans 50% regional growth

Industrious is unifying its Asia-Pacific locations across Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Sydney under the Industrious brand from 1 July 2026. The sites previously operated as The Great Room, which Industrious acquired in May 2022. The rebrand comes as Industrious experiences significant growth following CBRE's full acquisition in 2025. The company has grown its global portfolio by 58% and plans to open over 60 new locations in 2026, including three in Singapore. Industrious plans to expand its APAC presence by over 50% over the next 12 months. The unified brand aims to provide a seamless, globally connected workplace experience focused on premium hospitality and design. The company now operates more than 250 flexible workspaces across 80-plus cities worldwide.

Flex office firm Industrious grows footprint 58% to over 250 units in 100+ cities

Industrious, a flexible office company acquired by CBRE in 2024, has expanded its global footprint by 58% this year, now operating over 250 units in more than 100 cities. The company projects 100% growth in new signings for 2026. The firm's success stems from corporate demand for quality workspace in secondary markets, where companies struggle to match headquarters-level amenities. Many recent openings are in neighbourhoods rather than central business districts, catering to employees seeking proximity to home. Industrious uses an asset-light model, signing management agreements with landlords and sharing profits rather than paying fixed rents. This approach reduces risk compared to traditional co-working operators. The global flexible office market is forecast to grow from $54.59 billion in 2025 to $147.2 billion by 2033.
