Requirements
  • Four (4) years of information systems experience in: software configuration and deployment; OR
  • An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND two (2) years of information systems experience in: software configuration and deployment; OR
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
Responsibilities
  • Building the automation for installing, configuring, and maintaining end user software on desktops and ensuring applications are patched and updated for security, regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Building and maintaining scripts and processes used for maintaining user accounts, systems, and software configurations.
  • Collaborating with internal and external business partners to create system workflows and automation to enhance DAS systems.
  • Developing backend processes, documentation, test plans, and system releases.
  • Implementing system improvements through mature knowledge of programming skills to include SQL, API, and PowerShell.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience packing applications for automated deployment.
  • Experience packaging and maintaining OS components.
  • Strong understanding of Windows configuration tools (Group Policy, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL V4.
  • Creating and updating systems and process documentation.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical customers and voice opinions with clear rationale based on data and factual evidence.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and isolate the root cause and to propose permanent solutions with estimated work effort.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with members of leadership, co-workers, customers, other agencies, and the public.
