Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Demo Architect to join our team and take charge of developing and managing our demonstration and lab environments. This role is crucial in showcasing our products and ensuring a seamless experience for our Sales Engineers (SEs) and other stakeholders.

Position Overview:

As a Demos and Labs Developer at Zscaler, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing our demo and lab environments. You will collaborate closely with our SEs to ensure they have the tools and resources necessary to effectively demonstrate our products to potential customers and partners. Your expertise in various languages will be essential in building and maintaining these environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Environment Development: Build, customize, and maintain demo and lab environments that accurately represent our products and solutions.
• Software Development: Develop scripts, utilities, and tools in Golang, Python, and Typescript to automate environment setup, configuration, and testing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Engineers to understand their needs and provide technical support and solutions to enhance their demonstration capabilities.
• Environment Optimization: Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and efficiency of demo and lab environments.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for the lab environments, including installation guides and troubleshooting resources.
• Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to demo and lab environments.
• Customer and Partner Interaction: Occasionally engage with partners and customers to assist with environment setup and answer technical questions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong scripting and programming skills, with the ability to develop and maintain scripts and tools.
• Knowledge of Golang, Python, and Typescript is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker, VMWare) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Experience in creating and managing demo or lab environments is preferred but not mandatory.
