Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a maintenance environment, preferably with planning and scheduling
  • High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
  • Experience with material handling equipment system and basic understanding of installation, operation, and required general maintenance best practices
  • Proficient/Advanced knowledge of CMMS systems, preferably FMX and/or Fiix
  • Proficient in the use of standard office administrative software including document, spreadsheet, and slide presentation software (like MS Office or Google software suite)
  • Proficient in reviewing data for accuracy, anomalies, and trends, and being able to discuss findings with maintenance leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and diagrams
  • Ability to multitask when needed
  • High level of integrity and ethics, and excellent follow-through
  • Ability to work in cold environments
Responsibilities
  • Forecasting PM work and load balancing daily workload allotment based on available labor and material resources
  • Reviewing incoming maintenance requests, evaluating criticality, work scope, and needed resources
  • Evaluating safety hazards and PPE requirements
  • Estimating required labor, materials, and tools needed, and ensuring availability prior to scheduling
  • Working with site inventory specialist or site leadership to ensure required parts are properly kitted and booked against the proper work request prior to scheduling
  • Communicating with site operations and maintenance leadership to ensure work is scheduled and all impacted parties are aware
  • Reviewing and reporting work backlog to management regularly
  • Reviewing downtime data and potential warranty issues
  • Ensuring equipment records and metadata are correct and performing audits
  • Creating/enrolling new equipment to CMMS and ensuring completeness of metadata
  • Communicating with site maintenance leaders and technicians to continuously improve planning process and associated job plans
  • Working with other planner schedulers in the network to leverage best practices, share experiences, and help educate each other
  • Participating in training of new MRE staff, assisting Business Operations leaders with proper use of the CMMS system, and helping launch new buildings
