Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • PE License a plus but not required
  • 5+ years of building and industrial experience in a consulting engineering design firm setting
  • Experience with Federal and Government projects a plus
  • Experience with a broad range of electrical engineering designs such as power distribution, control, communication, and lighting design
  • Track record of successful design, quality control, and construction administration
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM/Revit
  • Ability to obtain government clearances
Responsibilities
  • Research, plan and design a variety of electrical systems for buildings and structures for government, industrial, and commercial clients
  • Prepare code compliant plans and coordinate drawings for a broad range of designs including power distribution, control, communication, and lighting design
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to prepare presentations and produce documents from schematic design through to the construction phase
  • Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s
