About the Role

As a highly skilled and knowledgeable cloud engineer, with broad expertise across Azure cloud services, you will demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing robust solutions within multi-tenant environments, with a particular focus on applications that leverage Azure AI capabilities and a variety of advanced Azure services.  You will have a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is also essential, empowering the engineer to efficiently build and deploy scalable cloud solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize and support innovative cloud-driven applications is a key aspect of this role. 

****Position is HYBRID in Raleigh, NC office-2-3 days a week

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in architecting and managing advanced Azure solutions, with a specialized focus on implementing and optimizing Azure OpenAI services. Experience should includeintegrating Azure capabilities with enterprise applications, and configuring advanced security, scalability, and monitoring features.
• Strong understanding of Cognitive Services and AI/ML concepts.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms, specifically utilizing Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI and Azure DevOps.
• ·Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ·Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• ·Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to manage cross-functional projects involving architecture reviews, build process enhancements, and pipeline improvements. 

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions with a focus on AI capabilities within Azure. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing and new applications. 

• Optimize and manage the performance, scalability, and security of Azure infrastructure. 

• Develop and maintain solution documentation for infrastructure design, configuration, and best practices. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure infrastructure. 

• Drive the deployment and management of Azure cloud infrastructure by leveraging Infrastructure as Code practices through Azure DevOps automation pipelines. 

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure services and AI technologies to ensure the infrastructure remains cutting-edge. 

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. 

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Must assist other team members with technical issues and pair program with other team members, fostering collaboration and continuous learning across the team.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $113,100 - $188,500. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
