Requirements
  • Work closely with experienced synthetic biologists to understand Enveda's drug discovery platform
  • Grow and maintain a diverse collection of plant species
  • Perform DNA, RNA, protein, and metabolite extractions
  • Opportunity to own your own plant metabolomics project from start to finish
  • Learn about drug discovery, techbio, natural products chemistry, plant genetics, and metabolomics
Responsibilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform independent research
  • Outstanding organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to clearly convey scientific results via data visualization and in writing
  • Experience with PCR, next-generation sequencing, cloning, and metabolomics
  • (Preferred) Experience in plant tissue culture and transformation
  • (Preferred) Experience in agronomy, botany, horticulture, or a related field working with large populations of plants
