Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
  • Comfortable developing in a Linux environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience developing in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with video streaming protocols such as HLS and DASH.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for key content partners throughout the app development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance on the Roku SDK, firmware, video streaming standards (HLS/DASH), and embedded system performance.
  • Collaborate with partners to optimize their app performance and user experience on Roku devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, both pre- and post-launch.
  • Work closely with Roku’s internal teams, including engineering, business development, and partner management, to align partner solutions with company goals.
  • Represent Roku in technical discussions, ensuring strong and productive partner relationships.
