What Is Cool About This Job
WP Engine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outbound Sales Executive to join our North American Acquisition Sales team. Once in your seat, you will be an immediate high impact contributor to our team.
Your day to day will see you working collaboratively with our cross-functional supporting teams, including our Sales Development Representatives (SDR), Marketing, and Demand Generation, to create and execute on our proactive sales strategies, drive growth, and ultimately acquire new customer logos!

To be successful in this role, you must possess a combination of key qualities, including exceptional sales acumen, a proactive and strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Success will stem from the capacity to craft and implement effective outbound sales strategies, navigate diverse outbound channels, and, most importantly, build lasting client relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Adaptability and a keen awareness of industry trends are also critical in allowing for the continuous refinement of approaches and strategies to stay ahead in the competitive landscape. Ultimately, success in this role is driven by a results-oriented approach, a commitment to driving growth, and the motivation to be an integral part of WP Engine’s dynamic and innovative sales team.
The Day To Day
Hybrid! - working with a mixture of inbound leads and using a list of warm leads to outbound to shoot you over hitting quota!
Collaborate with SDR teams to develop and optimize outbound strategies and engagement cadences.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to successfully closing deals, across multiple outbound channels.
Foster client relationships and ensure excellent customer service to drive open-to-close success.
Contribute to expanding market presence and achieving sales targets.
Continuously refine and adapt sales approaches based on industry trends and emerging opportunities.
Hybrid role visiting our Austin, TX weekly on Thursdays.
Your Expertise And Passion
3+ years of experience in closing sales, preferably in the technology industry.
Proven success in crafting and executing outbound sales strategies.
Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SDR’s, Marketing, and Demand Gen organizations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
Eagerness to take a leadership role in driving the growth of our outbound function!

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The cash compensation package above includes base pay plus on-target commission for employees in eligible roles. Sales incentive plans are uncapped with significant earning potential.
