- Hold a Quebec-recognized Class 5 driver's licence.
- Hold an attestation of college studies or college diploma in computer technology with a specialization in network management and security.
- Have two years of experience in a technical support role in telecommunications and bastion systems.
- Have two years of experience managing telecommunications equipment and computer security, including installing, configuring, managing, and testing telecommunications and security infrastructures.
- Have at least one continuous work experience lasting a minimum of two years with the same employer.
- Install wireless access points, switches, structured cabling with RJ-45 and Bix connections, uninterruptible power supply units, and videoconferencing equipment.
- Provide first- and second-level support to office troubleshooting teams.
- Monitor network status and manage incidents by opening tickets in the C2 tool.
- Coordinate requests with other service entities for third-level problems and issues involving external service providers.
- Propose alternative solutions to team members and the unit manager.
- Produce management reports required by the manager.
- Receive and handle information, support, and troubleshooting calls.
- Participate in analyzing operational problems identified by users.
- Troubleshoot second- and third-level problems and coordinate with other service entities.
- Place maintenance calls for infrastructure equipment.
- Prepare material purchase requests and track them under the supervision of the office-support manager.
- Maintain intervention records for equipment.
- Create and update access profiles and information-structure security controls.
- Track intervention requests and review access rights.
- Apply solutions to security problems.
- Check alerts and consoles and notify the responsible person of incidents.
- Travel by car to perform installations at remote sites throughout the province.
- Training in cloud computing and security.
- Cisco CCNA or Fortinet certification, or equivalent training.
