Requirements
  • Effective oral and written communication skills for client communications, technical reporting, and correspondence.
  • One to two years of experience in underground construction or pipeline rehabilitation.
  • Technical and contract knowledge in scheduling, estimating, contract administration, and cost control.
  • Working knowledge of computers and the Office 365 suite.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Ability to physically access working areas of a construction project site.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and to meet with management, clients, vendors, partners, or associations, or attend conferences or training, as needed.
  • Ability to travel 25%-35% of the schedule as required.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the work on various assigned contracts.
  • Assist in evaluating the progress and quality of contract activities in conformance with approved schedules and budgets.
  • Set, observe, and frequently re-evaluate project priorities while managing changing priorities.
  • Understand, organize, and accurately track every aspect of the job to support smooth project operations from a managerial standpoint.
  • Communicate and coordinate project activities with superintendents on a day-to-day basis and discuss big-picture topics with upper management.
  • Provide accurate, detailed, and timely pay applications to the accounting department.
  • Obtain daily reports from inspectors and contractors.
  • Prepare documents, letters, and meeting minutes as required by upper management.
  • Perform work safely and actively encourage others to comply with safety rules and regulations, including the use of personal protective devices.
  • Make site visits when possible or required to meet with superintendents and customers to discuss project efficiency and support needs for field management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with ArcGIS.
  • PACP, MACP, or LACP NASSCO certification.
