Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • May 2026 acquisition expands Kanga into compliance, collaboration, and student-progress tracking.
  • April 2026 Partner of the Year awards signal sticky district relationships and renewals.
  • Presence named exclusive remote provider for the new digital Woodcock-Johnson V assessment.

What critics are saying

  • California’s 2020 settlement still exposes Presence to compliance scrutiny and claim-substantiation demands.
  • School-district procurement delays can freeze growth until 2027 budget cycles.
  • If districts internalize services, Presence loses its core nationwide network advantage.

What makes Presence unique

  • Presence’s Kanga platform unifies IEP, RTI, and 504 workflows after Education Modified’s May 2026 acquisition.
  • It pairs 2,000-plus licensed clinicians with 60-plus assessments and 10,000 therapy resources.
  • Presence serves 10,000-plus schools nationwide, giving districts one vendor for service delivery.
