Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in payroll and ideally in equity administration
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state US/Canadian statutory legislation
  • Excellent data skills, specifically Excel/Sheet
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Payroll qualifications are desirable
  • Experience using Dayforce, the payroll system
  • Experience with equity platforms and public company share plans
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing end-to-end semi-monthly payroll for 700+ employees in a multi-state environment
  • Operational instruction and transmittal of outsourced semi-monthly multi-state payroll for US employees and Canadian population
  • Being the key point of contact and data for data vendors, service provider, 401k audits, and US acquisition projects
  • Advising and supporting on US acquisition projects, processing tax adjustments, year-end W2 filing, and periodic reporting to third parties
  • Keeping up to date with legislative changes and ensuring updates are made to the payroll software
  • Processing garnishments, workers compensation, union payments, and leave of absence payments
  • Managing hourly employees' payroll using integrated time and attendance software
  • Supporting People Operations Generalists with benefits administration in relation to payroll
  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of equity program, maintaining accurate records of equity grants, and supporting key stakeholders in Finance, Legal, and People teams
  • Responding to employee and leadership questions regarding company programs
  • Supporting company communications around equity programs
