  • The position requires sitting, standing, walking, driving, carrying, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • The role requires operating a desktop, laptop, and/or cell phone and communicating with colleagues.
  • Staff must communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races.
  • Staff must demonstrate knowledge of the history of discrimination in America, particularly as it relates to race and racism, and how this history has led to disparities experienced by marginalized communities.
  • Staff must successfully deliver culturally responsive services.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to staff and families in the Functional Family Therapy – Gang program.
  • Practice skills implemented by practitioners with families and support recovery efforts.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including managing email communications and community outreach efforts.
  • Complete contact notes and upload or transfer documentation to the appropriate Electronic Health Record system.
  • Upload assessments and data to appropriate systems, including YOQ, YOQ-SR, and OQ.
  • Provide community support by attending community events related to the program.
  • Support in-between-session learning by practicing skills with clients' families.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to support youth and family engagement as needed.
  • Attend intake and sessions as needed to provide additional support to staff.
  • Act as a mentor and coach in the program for skills and relationship building.
Desired Qualifications
  • Community Health Worker certification is preferred.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish is preferred.
