In this role you will be proving direction to skilled bargaining unit employees, leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts guided by our Roadmap and Control Tower objectives. Additionally, you will lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system’s various elements. In conjunction to daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication and execution with support group members is critical to the department’s success.

The position is 1st shift 6:30-3:30 M-F and supports work that covers a variety

of shifts in a 24-hour/seven-day schedule, as such, there may be a need to support work on occasional nights and / or weekends."

What You Will Do

• Provide direction to skilled bargaining unit employees
• Lead employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts
• Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system’s various elements.
• Perform daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication, and execution with support group members.
• Establish work schedules considering customer requirements, resource availability and other priorities
• Provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes
• Work dedicatedly to address issues and engage the workforce in achieving cell goals
• Demonstrate a 100% dedication to Quality, Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
• Drive quality and customer satisfaction through CORE operating system

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience 
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working with all levels of management and experience in a union environment
• Experience with Continuous Improvement principles (lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC, etc.)
• SAP experience
• Leadership experience with specialized knowledge or technical/operational practices and/or shop environment experience

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
