Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Maintain 24-hour security of the interior and exterior of the building.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the building and grounds to detect and deter unauthorized activity or safety hazards.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and other equipment to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
  • Operate and maintain various surveillance tools and technology efficiently.
  • Respond to all safety and security calls, incidents, and emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Take appropriate action in response to incidents, including diffusing disturbances, providing assistance, and contacting law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
  • Interact with Target Center patrons, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance and information as required.
  • Control access to the building, verifying credentials and directing vendors & visitors.
  • Identify and report any suspicious activities or security breaches promptly.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports, documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and security teams when necessary.
  • Keep detailed records and logs of all surveillance activities and incidents.
  • Review, save and analyze footage to assist in investigations and legal proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company policies related to surveillance.
  • Perform regular audits of the surveillance systems and recommend improvements.
  • Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities within the guidelines and deadlines set by the Security Manager.
  • Comply with and adhere to the department's performance, conduct, and attendance standards.
  • Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Hours of Work and Travel Requirements vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays, and weekends; may require working holidays and overtime as needed.
