  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline with 12 years of experience; or 10 years experience with a Master’s degree; or 8 year with PhD
  • 2 years of experience with encryption technology
  • 4 years of experience with scripting and coding languages such as Python
  • 1 year of experience with leading research and development efforts
  • 1 year of experience with model-based systems engineering tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler

Responsibilities
  • Lead research and development on the Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) cryptography project
  • Work with multi-disciplinary team members from numerous NG locations
  • Provide project management related to funding, staffing, schedule, and technical direction oversight to the internal research and development
  • Drive integrated solutions for future NC2/NC3 capabilities that NG will demonstrate to partners and customers
  • Produce prototypes that align to the Advanced Programs technical road map for the NC3 strategy
  • Lead presentations to government representatives regarding our prototypes
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with other USAF strategic systems such as Sentinel, Minute Man III, B-2 or B-21 delivery systems
  • 1 year of experience with Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) related systems/processes
  • Experience with software defined hardware structures (i.e., software defined radars and field programmable gate arrays)
  • Experience with modeling and simulation programs such as the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM)
  • Experience with applying hypervisors, cross-domain solutions, multi-level security systems, or modular open systems approach to integrated systems
  • Experience guiding Agile scrum teams
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (i.e., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Self-driven, able to tackle challenges, solve problems with minimal oversight and make recommendations for solutions/process improvement to leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and Sentinel special access program
