Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, Finance, or Economics or in a related field.
  • Deep understanding across the FX market from forecasting and trading, portfolio construction, optimization, and risk management.
  • Some exposure to one of the following technologies: Python, SQL, and Excel/VBA;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while being instrumental in building a new business
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to make processes more efficient
Responsibilities
  • Lead the expansion of Old Mission’s FX trading efforts
  • Work closely with internal engineering and research teams to develop proprietary trading strategies, theoretical pricing models and risk management techniques
  • Partner with our operations team in developing and managing critical clearing, vendor, ATS, and client relationships
  • Design, implement, and monitor trading strategies
  • Train and mentor a team of junior traders
