The Principal IT Business Systems Analyst – SAP for Medtronic, Inc. at its facility in Northridge, CA will be responsible for delivering and supporting IT solutions to support within the Diabetes Business group. Will apply functional knowledge of SAP PP/MM/QM for analysis, design, configuration, testing, and support of complex IT systems. Utilize the SAP R/3 ECC 6.0. Configure and customize supply chain processes, including but not limited to Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Production Planning (PP). Have a strong through knowledge on all the Planning strategies (Make to Deliver/Make to stock/ Engineer to Order). Should have worked on Quality Planning, Quality Inspection and Quality Improvement (Quality Notification & Nonconformance Management) Processes. Ensuring system implementation together with near-/offshore team members.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Drive business requirements elicitation, solution option selection, User acceptance testing and other project affiliated activities in Post Market Quality process area.
Engage with end users, and vendor as necessary to lead timely resolution of issues in the complaint handling system -including, but not limited to SmartSolve, or other integrated applications.
Work with technical and testing team to perform warm hand off, test data creation, test scenario identification, end user training.
Provide support for SAP PP/QM/MM module to business users.
Design and build SAP PP/QM/MM solutions & perform maintenance and support.
Provide support for operations scheduling business users.
Work with enterprise supply planning teams on various planning tools.
Own and provide support for informal and formal testing activities such as FUT, SIT and UAT as necessary.
Generate necessary MSCM documents in Agile MAP, Polarion and own the release activities.
Qualifications
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Requires 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree or 12+ years of experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Have
Medtronic experience
SAP Certification in Production Planning & Quality Management (PP/QM) desirable
Experience in PP/QM technical knowledge will be an added advantage.
Knowledge in Snowflake, and Blue Yonder technologies
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Flexibility to handle diverse tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to take initiative and work independently to achieve goals and objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative attitude with a problem- solving mindset.
Eagerness to learn and continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$108,000.00 - $162,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
