Requirements
  • Experience in data collection, reporting, and quality improvement activities
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making
  • Knowledge of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and NYS Department of Health AIDS Institute requirements
  • Proficiency in data entry and management
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and NYS HIV Confidentiality Law
Responsibilities
  • Generate and format monthly and quarterly performance reports
  • Extract information from completed data sheets and medical records
  • Enter collected information into the database
  • Monitor client level data via 'tickler reports'
  • Provide technical assistance related to AIRS and other data issues
  • Participate in quality improvement activities
  • Maintain organized filing system accessible to DHIVM data team
  • Ensure compliance with AMC, Department of Medicine, and DHIVM policies
  • Complete required education and training
  • Maintain printers, copiers, and related equipment
  • Track and maintain stock of toner for printers and copiers
  • Maintain inventory of DHIVM computer equipment
  • Set up equipment for conference calls and webcasts
  • Create Word and Excel documents
  • Complete special projects as needed
