$40,495.10 - $52,643.64The Data Capture and Reporting Specialist supports the Division of HIV Medicine (DHIVM) by managing data collection, reporting, and quality improvement activities under the direction of the HIV Quality Manager and Senior Applications Specialist. This role ensures compliance with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and NYS Department of Health AIDS Institute requirements while exercising independent judgment in meeting deadlines and maintaining data accuracy.

• Compliance with AMC, Department of Medicine, and DHIVM policies
• Complete education as required by AMC, Department of Medicine, DHIVM, or manager
• Compliance with HIPAA and NYS HIV Confidentiality Law

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain printers, copiers, and related equipment
  • Assist staff with printer and copier troubleshooting
  • Replace toner cartridges in printers and copiers as needed
  • Track and maintain stock of toner for all printers and copiers, assuring there is always a replacement cartridge for each printer/copier
  • Coordinate with fiscal coordinator or practice coordinate to order toner, as needed
• Maintain inventory of DHIVM computer equipment, regularly update loaner laptops; track equipment loaned to providers and staff
• Set up equipment needed for conference calls and webcasts, as requested by managers
• Create Word and Excel documents
• Complete special projects, as needed
• Consistent with the responsibilities of Data Capture and Reporting/ASA VII and the needs of the DHIVM operations, other duties may be assigned on an on-going, "as needed" basis.
