  • 8 plus years of business and manufacturing/ECM experience with at least five years managing or influencing global teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Industrial Engineering or similar preferred
  • Experience in large scale, global pharmaceutical, Biologics/medical device manufacturing network
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Process Improvement Expertise
  • Solid business knowledge and in-depth Operations, Procurement, Planning, Fulfillment and ECM knowledge required to support problem solving and simplification
  • Understanding of the key drivers of manufacturing performance and how manufacturing capabilities can be used to derive competitive advantage in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations, exposure to manufacture of sterile products a plus
  • Problem solving skills, managing complex and ambiguous business problems and develop concrete manufacturing and business recommendations
  • Quantitative and qualitative assessment skills, familiarity with financial modeling
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of constructively questioning ideas and assumptions
Responsibilities
  • Support long range capacity planning to identify bottlenecks and develop mitigating strategies
  • Participate in annual planning activities for the function
  • Assist the global division and regional manufacturing networks in their business assessments and development/review of their long-term strategies
  • In partnership with Baxter’s internal teams: support AS plants through finished goods supply constraints, participate in supplier development and supply continuity initiatives, ensure effective distribution of products to ensure the right product is delivered to the right place at the right time
  • Support the review of AS manufacturing and supply investments
  • Support strategies to optimize the global manufacturing network, improving cost and quality
  • Participate in-source / out-source assessments and define manufacturing plan for new product launches as well as the expansion or renewal of capacity for existing products
