Requirements
  • 5 years’ experience utilizing MS Project
  • 5 years’ demonstrated experience in project schedule planning to include WBS development and decomposition of project work plans and activities
  • Demonstrated understanding of project critical path identification and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience and application in conducting project schedule status, variance analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience and application of risk management to include; qualitative and quantitative analysis, root cause, impact, and risk response strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience and application of project scope development and work plan traceability.
  • Demonstrated experience and application of stakeholder management and development/utilization of a RACI.
  • Demonstrated experience and application of communications management, both written and orally, to include team facilitation, project status reporting, and Executive level briefing.
  • Demonstrated experience and application of formal project change management
  • Dedication to accomplishing goals and challenges presented by clients and management
  • Ability to operate in both a team situation and independently with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor degree required
  • 7+ years’ technical project management experience, understand Agile Development Processes
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) is required
Responsibilities
  • For select engagements, leads all phases of project management in alignment with PMO practices, including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Develops and maintains work plans with baselines and variance reporting to monitor progress
  • Establishes and implements communication plan
  • Develops and maintains Stakeholder Register and RACI Charts
  • Develops and maintains project Risk Register
  • Develops and seeks approval for Project Charter
  • Develops comprehensive project Scope Statement and ensures traceability to project workplan
  • Develops project workplan and ensures workplan is viable through scope traceability, critical path, and quality assessments
  • Conducts workplan status IAW the project Communications Plan and analyzes project variances, critical path, root cause and impact
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
  • Implements risk management processes to minimize project risks and issues to identify root cause, impact, and risk responses to lessen or eliminate impact to project delivery
  • Regularly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders, including the presentation of detailed periodic reports defining project progress, variances, risks, and issues
  • Interfaces regularly with customers, project subcontractors, Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership and the IT Steering Committee where applicable
  • Responsible for overall project quality assurance
  • Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
