- Coordinate contracted labor and vendor support based on workload and skill requirements.
- Partner with third-party providers to ensure alignment with maintenance standards and procedures.
- Oversee spare-parts inventory, sourcing, and purchasing to ensure availability of critical components.
- Manage asset-tracking and reporting systems to support maintenance planning and compliance.
- Develop, revise, and implement standard operating procedures and work plans for maintenance tasks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for reactive maintenance issues and lead cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Support environmental, safety, and quality initiatives through maintenance planning and execution.
- Act as a liaison between maintenance and operations to ensure customer needs are met with minimal disruption.
- Provide reporting and documentation for audits, certifications, and compliance requirements.
- An advanced technical degree or certifications in maintenance planning or a related field are preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
- Experience coordinating contracted labor and vendor support is desirable.

Eric Schwartz, who led CyrusOne during significant expansion, is stepping down as CEO and will work with Hatem as part of the company's succession plan. Hatem joined CyrusOne in 2011 and has held a series of increasingly senior roles across the business. Last September, he was named president, overseeing global sales and procurement along with U.S. design, engineering and construction. The company said that his extensive experience has helped establish CyrusOne as one of the world's leading digital infrastructure providers for hyperscale and enterprise customers. Hatem has built a reputation for leadership, strategic vision, operational expertise and a deep understanding of the market dynamics impacting the future of digital infrastructure. CyrusOne files to develop three buildings for $1.5bn data center campus in Fairfield, Texas. Construction has commenced on two of the three buildings, with the third to be started next month July 31, 2026 CyrusOne has filed to develop three buildings for a new data center campus in Fairfield, Texas, located next to Calpine's Freestone natural gas power plant. Construction permits have been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for three buildings at the campus, located on the FM 488 highway in Fairfield, Freestone County, Texas, around 90 miles (144.8km) south of Dallas. Data center company CyrusOne has partnered with Calpine LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Constellation Energy Corporation, and the operator of the Freestone Energy Campus, on this 760MW data center project. Full details of the project hadn't previously been announced. Set to cost $1.5 billion, the data centers will be powered by the Freestone Energy Campus 1GW natural gas-fired combined-cycle facility, which covers approximately 506 acres. CyrusOne has broken ground on two of the three facilities, with construction of the third due to commence next month. The data center campus is expected to be completed by the end of August 2027. The data center development comprises three one-story insulated pre-cast buildings (with accessory support spaces) named DFW20A, DFW20B, and DFW20C. Each building will be 306,215 sq ft (28,450 sqm) in size, totaling 918,650 sq ft (85,345 sqm). As of yet, no tenants have been assigned to any of the three facilities, according to the TDLR filings. CyrusOne is owned by investment funds KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners, and has more than 60 operational data centers in nine countries around the world, spread across Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America. In Texas alone, it operates 15 data centers. Constellation is the largest nuclear energy company in the United States and acquired Calpine, the largest geothermal and natural gas company in the country, in a deal that closed in January 2026. CyrusOne and Calpine have partnered on another data center project located next to the Thad Hill Energy Campus natural gas power plant, announced in July 2025. CyrusOne wins approval for £1.5bn UK data centre. Telecoms and Communications CyrusOne has received planning approval from Ealing Council for a £1.5 billion ($2 billion) data centre campus in Southall, West London.
