Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction scheduling or project coordination, preferably in a construction or contracting environment.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar.
  • A strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to work effectively with diverse teams and communicate clearly.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage challenges proactively.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods to onsite project locations.
  • Regular attendance and compliance with scheduled work hours.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules by creating, updating, and managing the overall project schedule in alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, Subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders to ensure work is completed on time and project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project activities and progress, identifying potential delays or issues that may affect the schedule.
  • Communicate and document project-team changes clearly.
  • Coordinate schedule changes caused by scope modifications or unforeseen events, update project timelines, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify, document, and communicate delays and their impact on project deadlines.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the project schedule remains updated based on the General Contractor's schedule and actual onsite conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of project schedules, Capacity Overview, change management, and team notifications.
  • Perform other duties or work at other locations as assigned by the manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or a related certification.
