Requirements
- Master's degree in quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, or economics, and 1 year of applicable work experience - OR
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, or economics and 3 years applicable work experience - OR
- 7 years of direct and applicable work experience
- Fluency with at least one statistical programming software and language (e.g., R, SAS, Python, Java, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with advanced complex joins, inferential, statistical, supervised and/or unsupervised modeling, regression analysis, and data presentation
- Prior experience with data manipulation, hypothesis testing, root cause analysis, forecasting, or modeling, along with a thorough understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience with business intelligence, reporting, and analytics platforms such as MS Power BI and Tableau, with proven ability to mine and query data across structured and unstructured data sets, including large data sets and spreadsheets
- Highly effective analytical skills, business acumen, and demonstrated proficiency in distilling large amounts of information into the most relevant insights
- Critical thinking skills; demonstrated ability to review and synthesize business information for the purpose of deriving and delivering relevant insights and recommendations resulting in data enabled decisions
- Ability to coach and mentor
- Naturally curious with a proven record of driving data-enabled business decisions and solutions
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner, influencing business decisions
- Proactive self-starter with effective time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize projects or tasks. Ability to manage timelines and competing priorities. Strong attention to detail
