- 5+ years overall IT experience
- 4+ years managing a Citrix virtual desktop environment, VDI solutions
- Large enterprise experience in various virtualization technologies like Platform as a Service, Desktop as a Service, and Infrastructure as a Service
- Experience in Desktop as a Service, On-Prem Infrastructure management for Citrix virtual apps and desktops
- Experience with Citrix Application Delivery Controller/NetScaler
- Experience with Citrix Workspace and StoreFront
- Experience with Citrix Machine Creation Services and Provisioning Services
- Experience with virtual machine management and User Profile Management, and FSLogix
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Enterprise-level Active Directory and Group Policy design and implementations
- Extensive knowledge of network technologies at each layer of the OSI Model, and related tools
- Ability to write scripts to improve performance, resolve issues, and automate processes via PowerShell or similar
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and strict Change Management processes
- Manage Citrix environments, PVS and MCS, and DaaS
- Proactively working on solutions and optimization
- Identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and issues and working towards resolution
- Support the VDI environment end-to-end
- Help manage business applications
- Working on incidents and requests from service desk tickets
- Support off-hour upgrades and installations
- Build and maintain detailed system documentation and KB articles to the solution center support
- Able to work on On-Call & shift rotations wrt responding to the alerts
- A virtual desktop infrastructure value-added activity (Azure Virtual Desktop)
- Profile resets, performance monitoring, and providing solutions to level 1 and 2 issues
- Update management, Profiling solutions, and handling workloads
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop is value added
