Maya HTT welcomes Friendship Systems and CAESES to expand simulation-driven design and optimization software portfolio.

Maya HTT welcomes Friendship Systems and CAESES to expand simulation-driven design and optimization software portfolio. Jul 15, 2026, 09:00 ET The combination brings CAESES' simulation-ready parametric geometry and optimization platform into Maya HTT's software portfolio, strengthening solutions for marine, turbomachinery, aerospace, automotive and advanced CFD-driven engineering teams. MONTREAL and POTSDAM, Germany, July 15, 2026 /CNW/ - Maya HTT, a global provider of engineering software, simulation, AI, and digital transformation solutions, today announced the acquisition of Friendship Systems, the German engineering software company behind CAESES. CAESES is a specialized platform used by engineering teams to create simulation-ready parametric geometry, automate design variants, and support optimization workflows. By enabling the systematic generation of design alternatives and associated simulation data, CAESES also supports data-driven engineering and physics AI enabled design workflows. The software is widely relevant to advanced engineering applications including marine, turbomachinery, aerospace, defense, computational fluid dynamics, and engineering consulting. The acquisition strengthens Maya HTT's simulation-driven design portfolio and expands the company's ability to deliver proprietary, high-value engineering software and solutions to customers globally. "Friendship Systems brings deep technical expertise, a strong product foundation, and a highly complementary platform to Maya HTT," said Vito Marone, Chief Executive Officer of Maya HTT. "CAESES enables engineers to explore more design options faster, connect geometry directly into simulation workflows, and turn domain expertise into repeatable digital engineering processes. It also creates a strong foundation for physics AI-enabled engineering by helping generate structured design and simulation data across large design spaces. This is exactly the type of specialized, simulation-driven technology that aligns with Maya HTT's long-term strategy." Through the acquisition, Maya HTT will add CAESES to its growing portfolio of Maya HTT-owned software assets and expand its European footprint, with Germany becoming a stronger anchor for product-led growth. The transaction also creates opportunities to introduce CAESES into Maya HTT's global customer base and combine it with Maya HTT's expertise in thermal simulation, flow simulation, AI, engineering workflows, and advanced engineering services. "This acquisition is an important step in Maya HTT's strategy," added Marone. "It gives us a broader proprietary software portfolio, deeper technical differentiation, and new opportunities to create integrated engineering workflows that help customers move faster from design exploration to validated performance." Maya HTT's integration approach will focus on preserving the strengths of Friendship Systems and selectively pursuing commercial and technical synergies where they create clear customer value. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. About Maya HTT Maya HTT is an engineering software, simulation, AI, and digital transformation company headquartered in Montreal, Canada. Maya HTT launches TMG SDK with 400× GPU speedup for thermal simulation

Maya HTT has launched the TMG SDK, a thermal simulation software development kit that allows developers to embed high-fidelity thermal solving capabilities into their own engineering platforms. The SDK is built on Maya HTT's Thermal Model Generator technology, already used by 21 of the world's top 25 aerospace and defence organisations. The SDK offers significant performance improvements, demonstrating over 400 times speedup in surface-to-surface radiation view factor calculations compared to conventional CPU-based approaches. One benchmark showed reduction from 127,233 seconds on an eight-core CPU to just 311 seconds on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU. Founded in 1982, Maya HTT serves thousands of customers across aerospace, transportation, energy and industrial machinery sectors. The TMG SDK is currently available to select partners, with broader availability planned for 2026.

Maya HTT Launches the TMG(TM) SDK, a High-Performance Thermal Simulation Solution

Maya HTT launches the TMG(TM) SDK, a High-Performance Thermal Simulation solution. New Software Development Kit Brings High-Performance Thermal Simulation And GPU-Accelerated Speed To Integrated Engineering Workflows. Montreal, Canada: Maya HTT today announced the launch of the TMG(TM) SDK, a new thermal simulation software development kit (SDK) that allows software developers and engineering technology providers to embed a proven, high-fidelity thermal solver directly into their own simulation environments. The TMG(TM) SDK helps teams achieve faster product development with access to mature thermal modeling capabilities and none of the time, cost, or risk of developing such a solver from scratch. For companies with existing solvers, this SDK from Maya HTT represents a premium alternative to expand fundamental accuracy out of the box. As the first industry-standard kit available for general use, TMG eliminates the extensive benchmarking and validation that were once a barrier to the adoption of new solutions. The TMG(TM) SDK is built on Maya HTT's proprietary Thermal Model Generator (TMG(TM) technology, which is also embedded inside mission-critical simulation platforms and trusted by 21 of the world's top 25 aerospace and defense organizations, as well as thousands of leading companies across transportation, machinery, energy, and other industrial sectors. With this release, Maya HTT is making that same solver technology available to a broader ecosystem of partners through a flexible, white-label SDK. Compared to traditional thermal solvers, TMG offers dedicated modeling features for the aerospace and gas turbine industries such as advanced boundary conditions to model thermal contacts in a satellite, complex radiation heat transfer in high temperature cavities of an engine, and a built-in 1D fluid network solver to model advection and convection heat transfer for air flow passages. "The TMG(TM) SDK gives simulation and engineering software teams immediate access to a feature-rich, production-proven thermal solver," said Derek Peeling, Product Director at Maya HTT. "We've spent decades refining the accuracy, usability, performance, and reliability of our thermal modeling solution. With the TMG(TM) SDK, our partners can now focus on their core innovations while relying on a solver that's already trusted at the highest levels of industry." Performance is a defining advantage of the TMG(TM) SDK. In surface-to-surface radiation view factor calculations - a traditionally compute-intensive thermal problem - TMG(TM) demonstrated over 400x speedup compared to conventional CPU-based approaches. One benchmark showed a reduction from 127,233 seconds on an 8-core CPU using a hemicube method to just 311 seconds on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU, a dramatic acceleration in simulation turnaround with no loss in accuracy. "Speed means nothing unless you can trust the results," said Jacob Harris, VP Software Products at Maya HTT. "The TMG(TM) SDK delivers on both fronts. Our partners gain a solver that is blisteringly fast and thoroughly validated. It's already embedded in some of the most demanding engineering environments in the world." Designed to be platform-agnostic and widely compatible with other CAE solvers, the new TMG(TM) SDK was developed for tight integration across multidisciplinary simulation solutions. It's now simple and seamless to connect thermal models with structural, electrical, fluid, and system-level analyses. The ease of integration helps engineering teams reduce their development cycles and bring products to market faster. The TMG(TM) SDK is currently available to select partners, with broader availability planned in 2026. About Maya HTT.
