Requirements
  • At least 2 years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • At least 2 years of experience with SQL, Teradata, or Hadoop.
  • At least 2 years of experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx applications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in risk, including compliance, financial crimes, operational, audit, legal, credit risk, or market risk.
  • Experience researching and resolving data problems and working with technology teams to remediate data issues.
  • Ability to understand Data Quality Checks, methodology, and dimensions for data completeness and accuracy, and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ability to become a subject-matter expert in Data Quality Check elements, the technology infrastructure used, and metadata and lineage from Data Quality reports to source data.
  • Ability to escalate potential risks, issues, and calendar or timeliness risks to management or Data Management SharePoint in a timely manner.
  • Ability to organize and store Data Quality Check artifacts, files, and evidence effectively.
  • Ability to perform deep-dive analytics, both ad hoc and structured, and provide reporting or results to internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to design and build data visualizations to communicate complex ideas and automate reporting and controls.
  • Ability to create and interpret business intelligence data, including reporting, basic analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics, and use business knowledge to draw supportable conclusions about current and future risk levels.
  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities for quality assurance, data validation, analytics, and data aggregation to improve reporting efficiency.
  • Ability to create and execute user acceptance testing cases, log defects, and manage defects through closure.
  • Experience with hands-on risk reporting and intelligence.
  • Ability to develop and maintain data documentation, including Governance and Oversight artifacts.
  • Experience working across Finance, Basel, Counterparty, Market Risk, and Credit Risk domains.
  • Strong validation and reconciliation competencies and data-mining experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in analysis and modeling initiatives and identify opportunities to improve process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation within Risk Management.
  • Review and analyze programming models to extract data and manipulate databases for statistical and financial modeling.
  • Use independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium-risk deliverables.
  • Coordinate and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for experienced management.
  • Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues.
  • Develop expertise in policy governance, risk projects, and regulatory requests.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, and various lines of business to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues and achieve risk analysts' and common modeling goals.

Swift Current Energy secures $750M credit facility to accelerate US clean energy development

Swift Current Energy has secured a $750 million corporate credit facility, with an option to expand by $250 million to reach $1 billion in total capacity. The facility will support the development of clean energy projects across the United States. Crédit Agricole CIB served as administrative agent and coordinating lead arranger alongside ING Capital and Truist Securities. The dual-tranche facility has a three-year term and provides flexible access to cash and letter of credit capacity. Since its founding in 2016, Swift Current has commercialised 5 gigawatts of clean energy projects, owns and operates more than 1 gigawatt, and has over 10 gigawatts in development. Chief executive officer Michael Arndt said the financing provides flexibility to advance the company's platform and bring new energy resources online efficiently.

Charles Schwab completes $2.6B debt offering with fixed-to-floating rate senior notes

Charles Schwab Corporation has completed a $2.6 billion debt offering, issuing two tranches of fixed-to-floating rate senior notes. The company sold $1.25 billion of 5.108% notes due 2032 and $1.35 billion of 5.655% notes due 2037. The offering was led by BofA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Morgan Stanley, TD Securities and Wells Fargo Securities as joint bookrunning managers. Charles Schwab is a savings and loan holding company that provides wealth management, securities brokerage, banking, asset management and financial advisory services through its subsidiaries. The firm serves individual investors and independent investment advisors. Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters in the transaction, with a team led by Roxane Reardon.
