Requirements
  • Experience working with legal practice management software
  • Knowledge of legal terminology (e.g. matters / unbilled fees, disbursements / expenses, safe custody)
  • Understanding of database environments and transitions
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Work effectively within a team
  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risk effectively
  • Confidence to liaise with clients in relation to conversion status
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL knowledge advantageous
  • Knowledge/background of bookkeeping/accounting advantageous
Responsibilities
  • Timely and accurate transition of data from competitor products
  • Reconciliation of migrated accounting data
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation and internal systems
  • Maintenance of data audit checking
  • Written reporting on migrated data
  • Ensure data sets received from client are complete and ready for the transition (e.g., reports, backups)
  • Import data into data transition software, to analyse, tidy and ensure it’s mapped to the correct database fields
  • Export data and check that data was successfully imported into LEAP
  • Ensure all financial balances are correct and match to the legacy data
  • Work as a team to check each other’s migrations to ensure quality standards are met
  • Carry out additional services on data migration such as using migration tools to upload client documentation to their LEAP database
  • Liaise with colleagues in client facing roles to ensure they are kept up to date with the progress of the data migrations and respond to data
